WHAT'S INCLUDED

Pelvic ultrasound The pre-treatment pelvic ultrasound helps us to plan your treatment. This type of ultrasound, also known as a 3D trans-vaginal pelvic ultrasound scan, helps us to get a much clearer picture of your womb, ovaries, and pelvis. We also use it to check the quality of your womb lining – the endometrium – and to calculate the dosage of drugs you might need for IVF treatment. 
Semen analysis (or pelvic ultrasound for your partner)

During a semen analysis, we analyse a sample of semen using various techniques and equipment to determine the quality of the sperm.   

Before the sperm test, you or your partner, will need to abstain from sex for three to five days. When we test your semen sample, we’ll assess: 

  • Ejaculate volume  

  • Sperm concentration (number)  

  • Sperm motility (how well they’re swimming) 

  • Sperm morphology (their shape, size, and appearance) 

  • Presence of white or red blood cells 
Anti-mullerian Hormone (AMH) test The level of anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) in your blood is used as an indicator of your ovarian reserve and can give us a better idea of how you might respond to IVF treatment. We’ll check your AMH levels through a simple blood test.

At your consultation with one of our fertility doctors, we will discuss your medical history, your current health, the results of your fertility tests, and the options for progressing your treatment. Your consultation will be with one of our team of experienced and dedicated specialists who will focus totally on you and on giving you the most appropriate advice.

Pre-treatment package (£449 Consultation Bundle)

Eligibility: This offer is exclusively available to new patients booking with Care Fertility. 

Offer Period: The offer is valid for consultations booked from the 13th of May 2024 until the 1st of January 2025. However, consultations booked between these dates can be scheduled until the 28th February 2025. Offer excludes Zita West, Cardiff, Dublin, and Plymouth Clinics.

 

Booking: Patients must book their consultations within the specified offer period to receive the discounted rate. The total cost of £449 includes all applicable tests for the patient, their partner, and a consultation with a fertility specialist. Payment is required at the time of booking to secure the appointment.  

 

Non-Transferable: This offer is non-transferable and cannot be combined with any other promotions or discounts.

Cancellation Policy: Patients can cancel their appointment within the 14-day cancellation period and receive a full refund. If an appointment cancellation happens after the 14-day cancellation period but with at least 48 hours' notice, a full refund will be issued. However, missed appointments or appointments cancelled without notice are not refundable. Please note that if test services have been provided within the 14-day cancellation period, refunds are not available.
